So they star opposite each other on a hit TV series, and some people think they don’t look bad together. Fair enough. But when an appearance side-by-side in an awards show has news sources like Entertainmentwise and The Daily Mail (Oh, come on, it’s the Mail!) publishing articles hinting at romance, it gets a little too far for gossip and a little too close for comfort. What next? Fans over-analyzing 10 minute videos, and arguing with each other over the internet about body language (“They’re holding hands!!” “But he’s leaning away from her!11!1!!!”).

The only two people who don’t get a say in this? The unhappy not-couple themselves. Because they’re not a couple. Seriously. Jesus.
